Weekend disturbance at McDonalds, 1587 Shawano Ave. Suspects in custody

On Saturday January 17, 2015 at approximately 10pm, Green Bay Officers were notified of a possible shooting at McDonalds, 1587 Shawano Ave. Officers met the complainant at a different address and were told there was an incident in the parking lot of McDonalds’ between a group of males and the complainant and friends. During this incident, one male pulled a gun out and shot at the complainant who was still sitting in his vehicle. The complainant and his friends then fled, calling the police.

Officers met with the victims, while other officers searched the area for the suspects. Three suspects were located near Western Ave. and S. Military Ave. Two were immediately taken into custody and identified as Esai M. Nunez, 17 yoa and Eric Howard, 17 yoa both from Green Bay. The third suspect fled on foot and was apprehended by officers. This male was identified as Bahron Berkley-Dolphin, 17 yoa of Green Bay. Officers recovered a loaded 9mm handgun from the area Berkley-Dolphin had ran.

None of the victims were injured in the incident. The vehicle was struck with one bullet.

Mr. Berkley-Dolphin was jailed on a felony charge of 1st degree recklessly endangering safety and misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana, obstructing an officer and bail jumping.

Mr. Howard was jailed for felony 1st degree recklessly endangering safety and misdemeanor obstructing an officer.

Mr. Nunez was jailed for felony 1st degree recklessly endangering safety, misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and bail jumping.

This was an excellent investigation and team work by the patrol officers in very rapidly locating the suspects and evidence related to the incident.

We have no reason to believe there was any ongoing danger to the public stemming from this incident.
