#030 Theft Arrest
Officer J. Harvey responded to Whole Foods Market on the report of a citizen’s arrest for petty theft. An adult female was arrested for the petty theft and was taken to the Fremont City Jail for booking. 
 
#046 Assault with a Deadly Weapon 
Multiple officers responded to the Asian Pearl Restaurant on Boscell Rd. where two patrons were in a fight and assaulting each other with bottles. When officers arrived the two combatants had separated. The investigation found that during a family birthday celebration, two brother-in-laws became involved in an argument over a birthday cupcake. One of the brother-in-laws attempted to strike the other brother-in-law with a large ceramic planter box. The other brother-in-law defended himself by striking the other brother-in-law over the head with an empty wine bottle. The impact caused a large laceration.  The injured brother-in-law was transported to the hospital for treatment and was found to be the primary aggressor in the assault.
 
#047 Driving on a Suspended License 
Officer Chahouati stopped a 33 year old adult male near Chapel/High and cited him for driving with a suspended drivers license.
 
#048 Driving on a Suspended License Arrest
Officer Liu stopped a car in the area of I880/Auto Mall.  A 23 year old adult male who was on probation, was ultimately cited for driving with a suspended drivers license.  A probation search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of meth pipe. 
 
#001 Possession of a Controlled Substance
Officer Scherer and FTO Valdes contacted a 30 year old adult male probationer near Driscoll/Washington and arrested him for his warrants and possession of suspected methamphetamine.
 
#005 Warrant Service
Officer Chahouati contacted a 29 year old adult male near 7-Eleven on Sundale Dr. and arrested him for several warrants.
 
#002 Armed Robbery
At 1:24 a.m., a male victim was approached in the parking lot of the Mission Peak Apartments by three suspects.  One of the suspects pointed a black semi-auto at the victim’s head and ordered him to turn around while the two accomplices searched the victim’s pockets.  The victim’s wallet is the only known loss and the suspects fled on foot towards Stevenson.   The suspects were all described as black male adults in their twenties.  An extensive area check and K9 track did not result in any further leads.  Investigated by Ofc. Soper.

#030 Felony Battery
At approximately 5:05 p.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven on Sundale Drive where the victim of an assault was located. The victim was struck in the face by another transient. When he was struck in the face, he fell and struck his head causing a large laceration. He was transported to the hospital where he received care.  This investigation is ongoing.
 
#039 DUI Arrest
Officer Gentry initiated a traffic stop near Stevenson/I880 and arrested a 38 year old adult female for driving under the influence of alcohol.

The annual Kite Festival at Central Park attracted numerous attendees. It was a very peaceful event and only caused a few traffic issues.
 
#022 Warrant Arrest
Officer Greenberg-Bobbitt conducted a security check at Motel 6 south. An adult male who had a warrant for a probation violation was located and subsequently arrested for the warrant.
 
#033 Resisting/Obstructing 
A caller reported that eight teenagers were trespassing near the park at Blackstone and Pecos. Officer Luevano arrived and attempted to contact the group, but one ran away while reaching into his waist band. The male ran eastbound and began hopping fences towards Fremont Blvd.  A perimeter was quickly established and the suspect was located hiding within a back yard. The uncooperative 17 year old male was subsequently taken into custody.
 
#034 DUI Arrest
At 11:34 p.m., officers were dispatched to a possible DUI crash at Stevenson and Fremont.  The caller followed the suspect vehicle to the Village Green Apartments after the driver chose to leave the scene prior to police arrival.  The 52 year old adult male driver was located and arrested for DUI.  Case investigated by Officer N. Johnson

#025 Driving without a License Arrest
Officer Zargham conducted a vehicle stop near the El Patio Restaurant on Fremont Blvd. The female driver was found to have been driving without a license. She was subsequently cited and released.
  
#021 Public Intoxication Arrest
Officers respond to the area of Fremont Blvd and Walnut Ave. where a citizen reported that a male was stumbling through traffic and was almost hit by a car. Officers arrive and locate the adult male who is extremely drunk and belligerent. After being arrested, he begins to kick and has to be placed within the wrap.
 
#037 Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance Arrest
At 11:59 p.m., officers responded to the 4700 block of Stevenson Blvd for a possible brandishing with a knife call.  The investigation revealed that the brandishing call occurred with a machete; however the victim did not desire prosecution.  The suspect, a 34 year old adult male, was ultimately arrested for being under the influence of a stimulant.  Case investigated by Officer Macciola.
