Attempted Armed Robbery at Taco Bell, 2230 University Ave - Suspect in custody
At approximately 7:43 am the Green Bay Police Department responded to an attempted armed robbery at the Taco Bell located at 2230 University Ave.
It was reported that a lone male subject, who had disguised his face, had been waiting outside by the back door for the two employees to open for business. When one of the employees open the door, the suspect forced his way inside and held the employees at gun point. He eventually fled on foot without obtaining any money. None of the employees were hurt.
The suspect had been identified as 27 year old Frederick Earl Davis and was arrested approximately an hour and a half later at his residence in the 1000 block of Lime Kiln road. He faces numerous charges including: Attempted Armed Robbery, False Imprisonment, and Recklessly Endangering Safety.
