Location:

Along a portion of the utility right-of-way corridor that spans from a site west of the 605 Fwy in Pico Rivera to a location east of the 605 Fwy in Industry, south of the 60 Fwy

What you can expect to see:
Helicopter operation:
A small helicopter will be used to position equipment and personnel. There will be periods when the helicopter will hover in the project area to perform these activities.

Traffic interruptions:

There will be periods of brief traffic interruptions during this work to ensure the safety of the public and project personnel:

· On the 605 Fwy (Sunday, January 18 from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.)

Each periodic traffic interruption may be three (3) to ten (10) minutes in duration, under approval and in coordination with local jurisdictions.

A combination of traffic control signs and crew members with flags will be used during the entire marker ball installation process.

About the project:
Southern California Edison (SCE) is currently upgrading the electrical transmission system in your area as part of SCE’s Tehachapi Renewable Transmission Project (TRTP). The upgrades are designed to add capacity to the power system, enhance reliability for customers and deliver power from renewable and traditional energy sources to the region. This will help SCE meet California’s renewable energy goals while enhancing electricity reliability in the region.
