The Warren Township Police Department has been experiencing an increase in motor vehicle burglaries and motor vehicle thefts which are currently being investigated.  We would like to remind everyone to always lock your car doors, never leave any valuables or keys inside your vehicle. We would also like to remind everyone that due to Warren’s proximity to Interstate 78, and the quick escape that it provides, the potential for home burglaries always exists. Please remember to lock your doors, activate your alarm system, leave lights on and let your neighbors know who might be coming and going from your house whether you're home or away.  Lastly, please don't hesitate to call the police the instant you see something that appears suspicious, unusual, or just out of the ordinary in your neighborhood.  With approximately 15,000 residents watching out for each other we may be able prevent the majority of these invasive crimes from occurring in the future.
