Help Create a "Healthy Community" Vision for Chula Vista at January 21st Meeting

What do bicycle lanes, community gardens, and smoke-free areas have in common? They are all topics being explored through the new Healthy Chula Vista initiative!

Residents and community partners are invited to attend the next Healthy Chula Vista stakeholder meeting on Wednesday, January 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Norman Park Senior Center (270 F Street). Attendees will be able to provide input on draft General Plan amendments that could better emphasize healthy community concepts. Some ideas include:
- "Complete streets" with pedestrian and bicyclist facilities
- Community gardens and urban agriculture
- Safe, accessible, and fun recreational opportunities
- Outdoor and indoor air quality, including smoke-free initiatives
