Partial lane closures on southbound Hawthorne Blvd from Sepulveda to 235th Street until Saturday January 24th. Expect delays. 
A Caltrans contractor has begun the replacement of a storm drain pipeline which requires a permanent lane closure in the southbound #4 (curb) lane of Hawthorne Boulevard between Sepulveda and 235th Street. The work has begun and it is anticipated to take approximately two weeks to complete.
Additionally, during construction hours from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m, Monday through Friday, the adjacent #3 southbound lane will also be temporarily closed. Although no work is scheduled for Saturday or Sunday nights, the permanent #4 southbound lane closure will remain in effect until completion of the work which is anticipated to be Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 6:00 a.m. Delays are expected.
