Four New Troopers Assigned to ISP Toll Road Post

Graduates from the 74th Indiana State Police Academy recently reported to their newly assigned districts.  Out of the class of 42, four of the officers were assigned to the Toll Road Post in Bristol.

This marks the beginning of their three months of field training with veteran officers and their one year probationary period before attaining permanent status as a trooper.

While in the academy, the new officers received approximately 929 hours of training in law enforcement techniques including criminal law, vehicle operations training, psychology, and “Survival Spanish.” They also developed skills in criminal investigation, vehicle crash investigation, and impaired driver prevention and detection.

The new troopers assigned to the Indiana State Police Toll Road Post:
