Arrest made on two year old murder case. 
On 07-25-13, a murder occurred at 1000 Block of Northwood Av. Compton, CA 90220, documented under Sheriff’s file number 013-09592-2833-011. Information received by Operation Safe Streets (OSS) detectives and Homicide implicated members from a criminal street gang.
Charges have been filed against Brian A Sawyers (MB/11-21/93.). He has been held to answer on counts including murder, attempted murder, shooting into an inhabited dwelling and gang enhancements.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
