Sunday, January 11, 2015, the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
In order to facilitate appropriate security for this event and to minimize the impact of traffic on adjacent residential streets, the following street closures and parking restrictions will be implemented.

The westbound lanes of Santa Monica Blvd will be closed from Wilshire Blvd to Century Park East on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 5:00 am to midnight on Sunday, January 11th. The eastbound lanes of Santa Monica Blvd will be closed on Sunday, January 11th from 8:00 am to midnight. The South roadway of Santa Monica Blvd ("Little Santa Monica Blvd") will remain open during this time.

Whittier Dr from Lomitas Ave to Wilshire Blvd will be closed to through traffic. Although closed to through traffic, residents who live on Whittier Dr, between Wilshire Blvd and Elevado Ave will be allowed vehicular access to their residences in the lane provided along the east curb. Police Department personnel will be present at the location to assist and control traffic flow.

No parking will be allowed on Whittier Dr between Lomitas Ave and Wilshire Blvd. The "No Parking" restriction on Whittier Dr will be on Sunday, 1/11/15, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. No exemptions are allowed in this area.

Additionally, to minimize potential parking concerns to the surrounding residential streets, "No Parking" signs will be posted that restrict street parking on Sunday, January, 11, 2015, from 0600 am to midnight, on the following streets.

- Elevado Dr - between Wilshire Blvd and Walden Dr
- Trenton Dr - between Whittier Dr and Wilshire Blvd
- Carmelita Ave - between Wilshire Blvd and Walden Dr
- Walden Dr - between Santa Monica Blvd and Whittier Dr
