Sunman – A two-vehicle crash in Sunman has left one person dead and injured two others.
On January 07, 2015 around 7:00 PM the Dearborn County Sheriff Department and Indiana State Police responded to a two-vehicle personal injury crash on SR 48 near Weisberg Road. According to Indiana State Police Trooper Matt Holley, Lloyd W. Edwards 78, of Milan was driving a black 1995 Toyota pick-up truck west on SR 48 following a black 2005 Acura driven by LeeAnna Beth Collins 23, of Cincinnati. The black Toyota truck struck the rear of the black Acura causing it to go off the road and crash in the ditch. The Toyota truck continued west on SR 48 and went off the roadway where it flipped over onto its top. Edwards was trapped inside the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.

This crash investigation is on-going. I will complete an update once more information has been gathered.
