Detective charges teen with taking indecent liberties with 14-year-old acquaintance 
Detective Billie Brown of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Michael Charles Tedder Jr., 19, of Toms Creek Road in Marion, with felony taking indecent liberties with a child.
Tedder is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl earlier this month.
The victim’s parents learned about the alleged incident and notified authorities.
