Shooting injures Moses Lake man at College Apartments

MOSES LAKE, Wash. (07JAN2015) – A 32-year-old Moses Lake man was injured this afternoon during a shooting allegedly at the College Apartments, State Route 17 and Grape Drive, Moses Lake.

The victim states he was sitting in a car with another male around 1:20 p.m. when an unknown third male carrying a handgun approached. Some altercation ensued and the victim was shot once in the lower leg. He was driven by private vehicle to Samaritan Hospital where he is being treated. His injuries are not life threatening.

The victim is not cooperating with investigators. There is no description of the alleged suspect.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything around 1:20 p.m. today near SR17 and Grape Drive is asked to call the Grant County Sheriff’s Office at 509-762-1160, or send information to [email protected]. Tipsters can remain anonymous. Reference case number 15GS00228.
