Fraud reported. 
ON January 6th, a report of fraud was filed in the 400 block of Chappell Road. The victim was contacted by phone and advised that they missed court and would be locked up unless they put $1,000.00 dollars on two green dot cards and provided the numbers from the cards. The victim complied by obtaining the cards and providing the numbers. the Sheriff's Office will NEVER ask you to obtain funds on green dot cards in place of going to jail. Do not fall prey to these types of scams.
