One Arrested for OWI after Morning Crash on I-69
Madison County-This morning around 8:45 A.M., Troopers responded to the area of I-69 southbound near the 225 mile marker for a single vehicle crash. When they arrived they found a 2003 Acura, which had went off of the roadway and crashed into the median cable barriers.
While assisting with the crash, Trooper Scott Keegan of the Pendleton Post detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver. Trooper Keegan performed an investigation for Operating While Intoxicated, and due to this investigation, determined that the drivers Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was over the legal limit. In Indiana, the legal limit is .08%.
Arrested was Mallory Orcutt, age 21, of Fishers, Indiana. She was charged with Operating While Intoxicated, a Class A Misdemeanor. She was lodged at the Madison County Jail.
All Suspects Are Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty in a Court of Law
