Advisory
NWS has issued a wind chill advisory until Noon Thursday, 1/8/14. Wind chill values 20-34 below zero.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for our area until Noon on Thursday, January 8th.
A wind chill advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will lead to frostbite
and hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chills at this level
could cause frostbite to exposed skin in 30 minutes or less.
If you must venture outdoors, make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
Please, keep in mind of our four legged friends. Do not leave pets exposed
to these extreme temperatures.
