Incidents 282 Reports 43

#008 Warrant Arrest

At approximately 9:05 a.m., Officer Dias conducted a warrant service at the Good Nite Inn and arrested/cited a 40 year old adult male for his outstanding warrant.

#013 #014 Narcotics Arrest and Peddlers Permit Violations

At approximately 10:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Serra Ave and Serra Pl regarding suspicious males going door-to-door selling solar panels.  The reporting party became suspicious when the males could not answer any questions about the products they were supposedly selling.  Officer San Luis and Officer Perry contacted a 33 year old adult male, Oakland resident and cited/arrested him for a drug charge.  Officer Baca contacted a 25 year old adult male, San Leandro resident and cited him for three Fremont Muni Code violations (failure to have a peddlers permit, failure to have a business tax and evidence of doing business in the City without a permit).

#027 Public Intoxication Arrest and Possession of Stolen Property

At approximately 3:40 p.m., Officer Montojo and Officer S. Hunt contacted a 46 year old adult male, San Francisco resident, near Civic Center and Walnut Ave who was walking outside of the crosswalk in the middle of the street.  During the contact officers noticed signs of intoxication.  The male was also in possession of several membership cards that did not have his name on them.  Officers believed the male was too intoxicated to care for himself and he was arrested for public intoxication as well as for being in possession of known stolen property.   He was booked into the Fremont Jail.

#032 Auto vs. Pedestrian Collision

At approximately 5:35 p.m., officers responded to a traffic collision near the intersection of Niles Canyon and Mission Blvd. Two pedestrians were crossing Niles Canyon near Old canyon Rd. and were struck by a solo vehicle.  The driver stopped and cooperated with police.  The two pedestrians were transported to hospitals, however no life threatening injuries were sustained and neither drugs nor alcohol were a contributing factor.  A Nixle road closure notification was initiated due to the temporary road closure for approximately one hour.

#026 Warrant Arrest 

Officer J. Harvey conducted a pedestrian stop at Peralta and Acacia Ct.  Officer Harvey arrested a 22 year old adult male for warrants.

#025 Driving on a Suspended License Arrest

Officer J. Harvey conducted a car stop at Mowry and Civic Center Dr.  Officer Harvey arrested a 22 year old adult male for warrants and for driving on a suspended license.

#023 Residential Burglary

Officers responded to investigate a residential burglary that occurred on the 34000 block of Bluestone Common.  The burglary occurred while residents were on vacation.  The suspects conducted an extensive search.  Loss included jewelry, an iPad and a MacBook. 

#034 Brandishing a Weapon

Officers responded to the area of Mission Blvd and Niles Canyon on the report of a tailgating incident.  Conflicting statements between drivers; one driver states a handgun was brandished while the other states he was using his phone to take a picture.  No charges requested by either driver, case documented by Officer Haugh.

#001 Warrant Service

Officer Madsen arrested a 42 year old adult male on the 4900 block of Creekwood Drive for a no bail warrant for parole violation.

#002 Warrant Service

Officer Nordseth responded to the area of Automall and Grimmer on the report of a person walking in and out of traffic. A 29 year old adult female was located and arrested for a warrant.

#004 Probation Violation

Officer Taylor located an adult male behind the Smart and Final business on Walnut Ave.   The male was in possession of jewelry and Indian currency which he said he found in the dumpster. The male was arrested for a curfew violation under his probation.

#030 Public Intoxication Arrests

Officer Dooley responded to the area of Royal Palm for two subjects pushing a car. A 29 year old adult male and a 28 year old adult male were located and arrested for being drunk in public.

#034 Public Intoxication

Officer Piol responded to Washington Hospital for a male who was creating a disturbance.  The 54 year old adult male was located and arrested for being drunk in public. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail.

#015 Possession of a Controlled Substance Arrest 

At approximately 1:10 p.m., Officer Estes responded to Centripedal Bikes on the 3600 block of Thornton Ave to investigate a theft.  Store employees were able to give officers suspect information and they then contacted a 50 year old adult male at his residence on the 2800 block of Coleman Place.  The male was arrested for possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was booked into the Fremont Jail.

#025 Under the Influence Arrest 

At approximately 7:15 p.m., Officer Taylor arrested a 35 year old adult male, Fremont resident, for being under the influence of a stimulant in the area of Franklin Ave and Roberts Ave.

#028 Warrant Arrest

Officer Snow arrested a 34 year old adult female for outstanding warrants.

#031 Warrant Service 

At approximately 11:05 p.m., Officer Madsen conducted a pedestrian stop at Sylvester Dr. and Rowland Dr.  A 30 year old adult female was contacted and arrested for her outstanding misdemeanor warrant.  The male was released on a citation.

#002 Warrant Service

At approximately 1:10 a.m., Officer Roberts conducted a pedestrian stop at Mission Blvd and Mowry Ave.  A 28 year old adult male was contacted and arrested for an outstanding warrant.  The male was released on a citation.

#032/#033 Warrant Service and Possession of Suspected Methamphetamine Arrest

At approximately 10:45 p.m., officers responded to the Archstone Apartments for a disturbance involving several subjects drinking in the parking lot.  A 28 year old adult male was contacted by Officer Dooley while walking away and was arrested for his outstanding misdemeanor warrant.  A 25 year old adult male was contacted by Officer Taylor and arrested for possession of suspected methamphetamine.  Both were booked into the Fremont Jail.
