Sullivan County—Today, using dental records, the homicide victim has been identified as Tiffanie R. Adams, age 20, of Sullivan, Indiana. Her death has been ruled a homicide and is currently being investigated by the Indiana State Police with assistance from the Sullivan Police Department and Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.
On the afternoon of December 30, 2014, a farmer found her body while harvesting corn in a field near CR 300 North and CR 325 East, northeast of Sullivan. Tiffanie was last seen on November 5, 2014 walking from her father’s home on North Broad Street to her mother’s residence nearly one block away. She was reported missing on November 7, 2014 to the Sullivan Police Department by her family. Indiana State Police was asked by the Sullivan Police Department to assist with the missing person’s case. Several leads were investigated, but none led to the whereabouts of Ms. Adams, prior to her body being discovered by the farmer.

Also assisting are the Sullivan County Coroner’s Office and Sullivan County Prosecutor’s Office.
This is an ongoing investigation and to protect the integrity of the case, the cause of death is not being released at this time. Ms. Adams was also seven months pregnant at the time she went missing.
