Clayton County SO, CCPD and DA's Office apprehend Top Ten Fugitive. Click for more details. Sheriff Victor Hill

Today, January 2, 2015, the Clayton County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Unit apprehended one of our Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives on Sir Richard Court in Jonesboro. The Fugitive Unit was able to apprehend the subject because of continued collaboration with the Clayton County Police Department as well as the assistance of the Clayton County District Attorney's Office.

The District Attorneys Office assisted with obtaining a much needed court order in the quickest and most efficient manner available. The Clayton County Police Department continually provided information as they received it to help in locating and apprehending Justice Harp.
It is cooperation between agencies like this that will ensure our community is protected against violators that plaque the community.

The Fugitive, Justice Allen Harp (09011992), was wanted for multiple felony and misdemeanor charges to include; Aggravated Assault (5 counts), Terroristic Threats (5 counts), and Cruelty to Children as a result of an incident that occurred in Jonesboro in July of 2014. Justice Harp was also wanted for Theft by Taking Motor Vehicle, Battery Family Violence (2nd degree), Criminal Trespass (3 counts), Simple Battery and Cruelty to Children for an incident that occurred in Jonesboro in December of 2014. There are still other charges pending against Justice Harp.

This offender continued to violate the law while being on the run. Therefore, it was imperative he be apprehended immediately to protect the current victims and prevent further victimization of our citizens. The Sheriff's Office would like to thank all agencies and officers involved in helping us rid the streets of Clayton County of this Criminal as we continue with one of our primary goals - "To Defend Those Who Can't Defend Themselves."

As always thank you for your continued support of the Clayton County Sheriff's Office. We also would like to thank the Clayton County Police Department and the Clayton County District Attorney's Office for their support of our office as we work together to fight crime in our county.
