Investigation into Robbery at 22000 Highland Knolls Dr. 
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a late Tuesday shooting at a southwest Harris County fireworks stand.
According to Sheriff’s Office Investigators, two suspects were involved in an aggravated robbery at the Black Cat Fireworks Stand located at Highland Knolls Drive and South Mason Rd.
At approximately 10:00 PM, the first suspect approached the business’ employee brandishing a firearm and demanding cash. The employee engaged in an exchange of gunfire with the suspect, who sustained several injuries.
The suspect was transported via Life Flight, and remains in critical condition.
The suspect driver was later located by authorities and taken into custody.
Investigators are currently determining whether the suspects in Tuesday’s robbery are involved in other such robberies nearby.
