City of Idalou Closures 
Update on City of Idalou Closures: Idalou Public Library will not open today and the Collection Station will be closed tonight due to the inclement weather. We apologize for any inconvenience. Also the drive thru window will be open all day and we are able to accept payment over the phone. Bills are not due until the 10th so please stay home!!!

Today’s Winter Weather

Due to the inclement weather today, Lubbock County will be releasing all non-essential personal at 3:00 pm this afternoon.
The Courthouse will remain open until 5:00 pm today to provide essential service to the public.
A determination will be made later this afternoon on a delay opening or closing for tomorrow.
We encourage citizens to remain at home and avoid all non-essential travel if possible.
If you must travel we advise you to use extreme caution as the roads are extremely slick due to the freezing drizzle.
