Anderson Man Robbed At Gun Point

On Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at approximately 5:39 PM the Anderson Police Department received a report of a possible robbery that occurred in the parking lot of the Gateway Shopping Center, located in the 2600 block of Gateway Dr. The victim, a forty year-old Anderson resident, reported he was seated in his vehicle when an unknown white male came to his passenger side door and got into his vehicle. The victim stated the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded his cellphone. The victim stated a second suspect came to the driver's side window of his vehicle and also brandished a handgun. The victim surrendered his cellphone to the suspects who then fled the scene in a two door dark colored Honda. The victim was uninjured and used another citizen’s phone to call 911.

Suspect #1 is described as a white male adult in his mid-twenties, approximately 300 lbs.

Suspect #2 is described as a white male adult in his mid-twenties, approximately 165 lbs, blonde/brown hair, wearing a black and grey hooded sweatshirt with blue jeans.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous and citizens should not approach them. The Anderson Police Department is asking anyone with information about this case to please contact SHASCOM dispatch at 245-6526.
