According to the National Weather Service, they are expecting strong storms to develop overnight tonight into Tuesday morning. These storms will be primarily in central and south Georgia during the morning hours moving into north Georgia and the rest of the state late Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning. These storms are expected to bring heavy rains, strong winds and isolated tornadoes. The National Weather Service is expecting larger amounts of rain in the central Ga area, however, we could receive anywhere from 1-2 inches in our area. As with all storm systems they can change rapidly. Please pay attention to your surroundings when traveling over the next few days. The roads will be crowded and with the rain they will become a little more treacherous. Additional information will be sent out as it's made available.
