Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Hispanic that was discovered on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:38 am in the 700 block of Millbury Avenue, La Puente.

Detectives have learned that the 17-year old victim was standing in the driveway of a residence with several acquaintances, when two suspects approached them on foot.  One of the suspects shot the victim in the upper torso with a handgun.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspects were last seen driving away in a blue or green vehicle, in an unknown direction.

The shooting appears to be gang-related.

There is no additional information at this time.
