Police Need Help To Identify Suspects Responsible for Burglary and Vandalism During Protests
Oakland, CA — The Oakland Police Department requests assistance from the media and the community in identifying and locating the persons in the attached surveillance photos. Investigators have released photos of several people responsible for burglary and vandalism on the night of November 24, 2014 during the downtown Oakland protest events.
BACKGROUND: On November 24, 2014, at 11:41 PM, the MetroPCS store located in the 900 block of Broadway was vandalized and looted. The suspects broke large store front windows, gained entry into the building, and damaged and removed property. The suspects fled the area on foot.
The investigation is on-going and anyone with information is asked to contact the Oakland Police Department’s Burglary Section at (510) 238-3951.
