*Be mindful of surroundings specifically while at the ATM
*Activate your home alarm when leaving the house
*Bring in your mail and newspaper in a timely manner
*When shopping hide gifts,merchandise,valuables inside your vehicle
*Have a neighbor watch your house if on vacation
*If you observe a suspicious person or vehicle call the Police
*Be aware of internet and telephone solicitors/scam artists
