Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Carson Station Detectives Arrest Four Suspects In Theft Ring And Recover More Than $100K In Merchandise

On Monday, December 8, 2014, a large electronics warehouse in the city of Carson, reported several of their employees were stealing brand new high-end televisions, lap top computers, and other expensive items.  They discovered the stolen items were being sold using the "Craigslist" website. The stolen merchandise was being sold far below market value.  

The electronics warehouse offered powerful evidence and identified multiple employees.

On Wednesday, December 17, 2014, the detectives at Carson Sheriff's Station conducted an operation which led to a search warrant at three separate locations.  Detectives recovered 4-New Samsung “Curve” Large Screen High Definition TV’s, 32-New Apple Laptops computers sealed in their original boxes, 30-New Premium Outdoor Patio Furniture in their original boxes, 10-Cases of Premium Professional Nail Polish, 15-Cases of “Beats” Brand Desk Speakers , 10-Boxes Miscellaneous TV, Patio and Audio Equipment, and thousands of dollars in U.S. currency.  The value of the recovered items is approximately $100,000.  

A total of four suspects were arrested.  Due to an on-going investigation, the names of the suspects will not be released at this time.
