There will be a test of Altoona’s outdoor warning siren on Wednesday, December 17th at 1 p.m. The test is being conducted at the request of the Town of Altoona and McCord Communications. THIS IS ONLY A TEST.
Outdoor warning sirens are typically tested on the second Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m., barring inclement weather or other emergencies. The next scheduled test is January 13, 2015 at 1 p.m.
