On Sunday December 14th at 3:15am, APD officers were sent to a report of shots being fired in the 2600 block of Brook. Upon arrival to the area, officers located a B/M 55 with what appeared to be numerous gunshot wounds to his body. As officers were performing first aid on the victim they attempted to ascertain what had occurred. The victim was unable to provide very many details only stating that an H/M in a dark colored vehicle had shot him. The victim was unable to provide any other description of the suspect at the time. The victim was transported to a local hospital by an ambulance where he was treated for his injuries. The victim did suffer a gunshot to his stomach area and to his right forearm. The injuries are reported to non life-threatening. The incident remains under investigation.
