Dollar General at 3412 S. Georgia robbed Sunday night, no arrests.

On 12-14-14, at about 9:45 PM, officers responded to an armed robbery at the Dollar General at 3412 S. Georgia. The suspected entered through the front door and made contact with a female employee that was working outside the register area.  He told her that the store was being robbed.  The man was holding his hand in the pocket of his jacket in a manner that led the victim to think he was holding a weapon.  The man told her that he wanted the money.  She walked with the man over to a check out area, where she handed him the money from the cash register.  He walked back out the front door and left in an unknown direction. The suspect was a WM about 5 feet 4 inches tall, slim, wearing a blue and gray plaid  jacket or thick shirt, brown gloves, and had a dark colored bandana over his face.  There were no injuries in this incident and there have been no arrests.  Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call the Amarillo Police Department or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
