On Thursday, December 12, 2014 at approximately 0900 hrs. John Karl Garner, Jr. was taken into custody by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and the Forest City Police Department.
Garner had multiple warrants for his arrest in Rutherford County.
Garner’s charges in Rutherford County include:
3 cts Larceny of Motor Vehicle, 2cts Possession of Stolen Goods, Unauthorized use of Conveyance, Felony Possession of Methamphetamines, Flee to Elude Arrest, and multiple traffic violations.
Other charges are pending.
During the arrest a 1993 Suzuki ZSX Catana Motorcycle and a 1986 Mazda B2200 pickup truck were recovered.
Garner is being held in the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Detention Center under a $33,500.00 Bond.
There is also a hold on Garner for warrants in Cleveland County.
