Child Abuse Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Hokes Bluff man has been arrested in connection to physical abuse of a child, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Malcolm Wade Howard, 28, of Hokes Bluff, was arrested on December 11, and is currently charged with child abuse, which is a felony,” investigator Haydyn Hedgspeth said.
Howard allegedly physically abused a 4 year old boy leaving a large bruise on the child’s face.
He is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $25,000 cash.
