On 12-10-14, at 11:46 PM, officers were sent to Tascosa High School at 3921 Westlawn on a report of a suspicious white male in a black hooded coat on the grounds. Responding officers saw one man matching that description walking across the athletic field. The man exited a fenced area and started east along Wolflin. An officer detained the man, Trenton Titus WM 21. Meanwhile, officers located a broken window and open door on the east side of the school. They found Ezquiel Renteria WM 19 in a women’s restroom next to the gym. There was graffiti on the bathroom walls and mirror. He was also detained. A school employee also contacted officers to advise them that he had seen and called about one of the suspects inside the building. A warrants check on Titus showed he had a warrant for probation violation stemming from an original charge of burglary. He was also in possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Officers found glass like that in the broken window of the school embedded in the sleeve of his jacket. Titus was booked into the Potter County Detention Center for the felony warrant for probation violation, criminal trespass of school property, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Renteria was booked for criminal trespass of a school and graffiti on school property.
