Temporary, overnight ramp closures on the Illinois Route 47 Interchange on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) are scheduled throughout next week for tolling equipment installation and testing. Only one ramp will close at a time and electronic message signs will be put in place to alert drivers in advance of the closures.

Weather permitting, overnight ramp closures are scheduled to begin at 11 p.m. each night and continue through 5 a.m. the following morning. All ramps are scheduled to reopen each day ahead of the morning rush hour.

Ramp closures are scheduled:

• Monday, December 15, on the ramp carrying westbound I-90 traffic to Illinois Route 47. While the ramp is closed, drivers can exit I-90 at the Randall Road Interchange, about six miles to the east of Illinois Route 47.

• Tuesday, December 16, on the ramp carrying Illinois Route 47 traffic to eastbound I-90. While the ramp is closed, drivers can enter I-90 at the Randall Road Interchange, about six miles to the east of Illinois Route 47.

• Wednesday, December 17, on the ramp carrying eastbound I-90 traffic to Illinois Route 47. While the ramp is closed, drivers can exit I-90 at the U.S. Route 20 Interchange, about five miles west of Illinois Route 47.

• Thursday, December 18, on the ramp carrying Illinois Route 47 traffic to westbound I-90. While the ramp is closed, drivers can enter westbound I-90 at the U.S. Route 20 Interchange.
