This morning, at approximately 12:38 a.m., Los Altos Police Officers responded to the 1000 block of Crooked Creek Drive on the report of a residential robbery that had just occurred.

Three suspects reportedly entered the residence through an attached garage and confronted the homeowner, who was asleep inside. One suspect displayed a firearm and stayed with the victim while the other suspects burglarized the residence. The suspects fled the scene with property from the residence and the victim, who was not injured, called the police.

The suspects were described as three males who were wearing masks. All suspects are currently at large and Los Altos detectives are actively investigating this case.

The Los Altos Police Department would like to remind the public:

• Report suspicious activity in your neighborhood. This includes any individuals exhibiting behavior consistent with “casing” your neighborhood, aggressive solicitors and suspicious vehicles not known to the neighborhood.
• Secure your home. There are a variety of preventative measures you can take to secure your home and deter criminal activity. Some techniques include installing burglar alarms, locking perimeter gates and access points and installing exterior motion lights and video surveillance systems.
