Detectives looking for man and woman who might be responsible for theft of gun outside store; cash reward available 
Investigators with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office hope someone can recognize this man and this woman caught on camera at Samir’s on Burma Road East in Nebo.
They are people of interest in the theft of a firearm.
Kenneth Hurd, of Harmony Grove Road in Nebo, reported on Nov. 24 that someone entered his truck parked outside Samir’s and stole a Browning Hunter .270-caliber rifle and a Tasco brand scope with a total value of $700.
Anyone with information concerning the crime or these people caught on camera are asked to call Detective Billie Brown of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 652-2237 or McDowell County Crimestoppers at 65-CRIME (652-7463). With Crimestoppers, your identity remains anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward.
