Connersville Woman Arrested For Meth

Connersville – A Connersville woman was arrested on felony Methamphetamine charges last night as the result of an ongoing meth investigation by the Pendleton District Meth Suppression Squad and the Task Force Connersville.

The investigation culminated in a search warrant being obtained and served on a home at 3204 N. Central Avenue in Connersville around 10 p.m. last night. As a result of that warrant Tabitha Belt, age 32, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a Level 6 Felony. She was lodged in the Fayette County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing, and further charges and arrests could be made pending Fayette County Prosecutor Bette Jo Jones review of the case. Methamphetamine is a highly addictive and destructive drug.
