On November 20, 2014 at approximately 6:00 pm, Burlington Police responded to a report of a residential burglary in the area of North Prospect Street. The homeowner found that various turn of the century sports memorabilia had been taken. Among these items is a 1928 “Murderer’s Row” New York Yankees autographed baseball with a signature of Babe Ruth separately dated 1930 as well as player cards of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Honus Wagner and other notable players.
The collector is offering a significant cash reward for information that leads to the return of the items in addition to the reward available from Crime Stoppers for information regarding the whereabouts of the items that leads to their recovery.
