St. Joseph County – Last Friday troopers from the Bremen Post conducted a sobriety checkpoint in St. Joseph County. At the conclusion of the checkpoint troopers participated in a saturation patrol targeting impaired and dangerous drivers.
As a result of their effort the ten officers made two misdemeanor OWI arrests and six criminal arrests to include a charge of criminal recklessness with a vehicle that stemmed from a pursuit. In all 60 vehicles went through the checkpoint.
*All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
