NSPD and NSFD partnering with Target to host a Heroes & Helpers event to help children. 
Norton Shores Police Department, Norton Shores Fire Department, and Target will host a Heroes & Helpers event to help children from Mona Shores Public Schools purchase holiday gifts for their families. The event is being held tomorrow, December 2, at 5:15 pm at Target, 5057 Harvey St.
The Heroes & Helpers program fosters strong community relationships by pairing public safety officials with in-need youth to shop for the children's families during the holidays.
Several officers from NSPD and NSFD will be pairing up with eight children from Mona Shores Public Schools. Eight children have been nominated by their school to participate in the Heroes & Helpers event.
NSPD and NSFD truly appreciate the partnership with Target and are grateful to bring the Heroes & Helpers event to Norton Shores.
