On the early morning of Saturday November 29th, 2014 at approximately 4:47 AM Absecon Police Department responded in the area of Ohio Avenue for a three car motor vehicle accident. Upon police arrival it was discovered the vehicle which caused the accident was fully engulfed in flames and the driver was able to safely remove himself from the vehicle without injury. Absecon Fire Department quickly responded and was able to efficiently extinguish the vehicle fire. During the investigation the driver was identified as, Jorge Santiago. The cause of the accident is still under investigation; however, it is known at this time that Mr. Santiago’s vehicle struck two parked vehicles causing his vehicle to ignite into flames. The accident is being investigated by Officer Daniel Howell (badge # 854) of the Absecon Police Department.
