Clay County, Missouri – November 25, 2014 – We have recently been notified that a person claiming to be an employee from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office is calling people and telling them they have an emergency and must return his call. The caller is identifying himself as Lieutenant Michael Blackman and the phone number he is using is 816-401-5429.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office does not have an employee by the name of Michael Blackman.
If you receive a call of this nature, please contact your local police department’s non-emergency line to report the incident.
