DBPD urges residents to remove any litter, political signs & leaves from their yard before snow falls. See email/web message for more info
The Dearborn Police Department would like to urge residents to remove any litter or debris, outdated garage sale ads, political signs, special event bulletins, and leaves from their yard and property before the cold weather hits and snow falls.
• Storm drains, if not properly cleared, can become backed up by leaves, snow, and ice, resulting in flooding or ice patches on streets.
• Leaves piled in front of an easement on the street, if not picked up, could be plowed back onto a homeowner’s property and will prevent a car from being able to utilize a parking space.
• Part of being a good member of the community is ensuring all residents are being proactive and doing their part to aid in the advancement of the quality of life in our great city.
