We would like to provide you with an update to the protest activity currently happening in downtown Oakland. We estimate the crowd size to be 300. The protestors temporarily shut down freeway 980. OPD was able to redirect the protestors and the freeway has been reopened.
The intersection at 14th St. & Broadway is currently closed to traffic due to protest activity. Please use alternate routes.
