Burglar runs from Moses Lake area home – without his shoes

MOSES LAKE, Wash. (24NOV2014) – A 20-year-old Moses Lake man is in jail today after burglarizing a home Friday evening.

Around 7 p.m., a woman returned to her home in the 7500 block of Bouldercrest. She entered through the garage and discovered a pair of unfamiliar shoes near the interior door. The lady then went inside and found a man hiding under a home office desk. The lady ran from the home and called 9-1-1. The shoeless suspect also ran from the home.

Three deputies arrived quickly and began searching for the suspect. With the aid of a citizen’s tip, deputies went to a neighboring home and found T.J. Brice Harman. When deputies showed Harman the shoes found at the burglary scene, he acknowledged they were his.

Harman was arrested and is lodged in the Grant County Jail for suspicion of residential burglary.
