Police Investigating an Attempted Suicide on the Absecon Train Tracks 
On Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 12:51pm the Absecon Police Department along with Absecon Medical Services responded to the train station platform for a subject struck by a New Jersey Transit train. Upon arrival a fifty-two year old female was located under the train platform. The female was observed walking along the tracks and jumping in front of the train.
The female was treated and transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center- City Campus by the Absecon EMS assisted by AtlantiCare paramedics. Absecon Police assisted the New Jersey Transit Police with their investigation.
