     The Holiday Season kicks off in the Village at Fairview and Village at Allen this weekend. Just a friendly reminder that due to the potential for rain The Village at Fairview/Allen staff moved this event to the Village at Allen. Candy Canes for Kids is located at space #1530 at the Village at Allen between Cold Stone Creamery and The Kids Salon. American Idol Season 11 finalist Colton Dixon will give a FREE performance at 7:00 p.m. at Space #1508 at the Village at Allen.

     The Town of Fairview Special Events Committee will be in attendance handing out Shop Fairview/Gus Macker Basketball shopping bags to those participating in the festivities. I encourage you to attend and show your support to the committee, and pick yourself up a shopping bag in the process. 

     At the event Shoppers can help construct a Christmas tree out of peppermint sticks. After purchasing peppermint sticks (the cost is 4 for $1.00), shoppers have the chance to write their name or the name of a loved one on the sticks and glue them to a Christmas tree. All proceeds will benefit Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County (CACCC). The goal is to raise at least $5,000 to help children right here in Collin County that have been the victims of child abuse and neglect. The completed trees will remain as a backdrop on the stage throughout the Holiday Season. We'll have a special gift for all children that bring a new unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more for the Toy Drive and to the Candy Canes For Kids event while supplies last!

Farmshop Indoor Market

Visit the Farmshop Indoor Market on Saturday, November 22^nd from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 23^rd from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Farmshop Center hosts the Four Seasons Market and includes a coffee bar and a shop area.
