The program consists of topical modules, each five days in length, which are scheduled over an 11-month period and are conducted at both the of North Carolina Justice Academy locations in Salemburg and Edneyville campuses. The North Carolina Justice Academy is the primary training organization for North Carolina criminal justice personnel.
Chief Jackson commented, “Lt. Hoppes continues to lead a very distinguished career in police work. He is a 20-year veteran of Forest City Police Department and he has continued his pursuits in his personal and professional development. The management development program required Lt. Hoppes to spend 11 weeks away from his family and community. Lt. Hoppes becomes the third Forest City Police executive to graduate from the Management Development Program in the past three years and I commend him on his hard work and dedication to the department.”
