BOLO: Two escapees from Morrison Correctional still on the run; one, Frankie Noles, is from Marion; call 652-2235 or 652-4000 with info
Authorities are still searching for the two inmates who escaped from Morrisville Correctional Sunday night.
They are believed to have scaled the fence at the minimum-custody unit in Richmond County at 10 p.m. A manhunt has been ongoing statewide since that time.
One of the inmates, 22-year-old Frankie D. Noles, is from McDowell County. His last known address was Jenny Lind Drive in Marion. He was serving sentences for felony breaking and entering, among other charges, and was scheduled for release in December 2015.
The second inmate, 20-year-old Jacob Pilkington, has ties to Rowan County. He was serving sentences for felony breaking and entering, among other charges, and was set to be released in November 2015.
At this moment, the pair is believed to be in a brown 1995 Toyota Camry with front-end damage and tag number CMT-8843.
Anyone with information concerning their whereabouts is asked to call the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 652-2235, the 911 communications center at 652-4000, Morrison Correctional at (910) 281-3161 or McDowell County Crimestoppers at 65-CRIME (652-7463).
