#050: Chain Snatch Robbery Attempt

At approximately 4:00 p.m., a 47 year old female of Asian Indian descent, was walking with her daughter on the sidewalk near Sundale Drive and Trinity Way.  A suspect came up from behind her and grabbed her gold necklace from around her neck.  The victim held on to her necklace and as she turned to face the suspect, she fell to the ground.  The suspect let go of the necklace and fled the scene.  The suspect was described as a black male adult, about 6’00” tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.          

#026: Suspicious Circumstance/Residential Burglary Attempt

At approximately 10:45 a.m., a black male adult approximately 5’10”- 6’00”, with a medium build wearing a tan hat, black long sleeve shirt and blue jeans, attempted to pry open a front door at a residence near the 33000 block of Harrier Terrace.  A female was home at the time and noticed the suspicious male at the front door.  The resident went outside and threw a brick over the fence towards the subject.  This caused the unknown male to flee the area prior to gaining entry into the house.  Officers were then called and searched the area with negative results.   

#035: Residential Burglary Attempt

At approximately 1:20 p.m., a black male adult, in his early 20’s, thin build, dressed in a black sweatshirt and dark blue jeans, rang the doorbell at a residence on Amador Road.  The homeowner did not answer the door.  The suspect then entered the rear yard, and fled when he noted the residence was occupied.  The suspect fled the area in a newer black four door sedan with tinted windows. The homeowner called Fremont Police approximately 20 minutes after the incident occurred.

#052: Warrant Arrest

Officer Morrison conducted a traffic stop at Thornton Ave and Fremont Blvd and arrested a 29 year old male for his outstanding warrant.

#054: Drunk in Public/Warrant Arrest

Officer Montojo and Officer Stillitano were dispatched to the area of Auto Mall Pkwy and Boyce Rd to conduct a welfare check on a male wandering in the roadway.  They contacted a 35 year old male and arrested him for his outstanding warrant and for being drunk in public.

#067: Possession of a Controlled Substance

Officer Ramsey contacted a 23 year old male at the Hub Shopping Center.  He was subsequently arrested for possession of Methamphetamine.
